Thank you for taking time to nominate someone for our "Character Builder"
award. You are exemplifying your own good character by honoring another. You
are helping to build role models for our community!
Some Criteria for nominations:
Nominee ~
- Must live in the Hempstead area
- Must not be running for political office
- Must not have received this award in the previous year
- Must not be a member of the Character Council.
Here is the Character Council's schedule of character qualities to be promoted this year. Nominations must be submitted for the character quality award you are nominating the person for by the 10th of the month that quality is presented.

If the Council chooses your honoree for the character award for that character quality, we will display your "award" of honor at a future date on this website. The name of the one nominating someone for an honor award will not be printed on the website nor given out to anyone else.
